Guaranteeing the mobility of the people is certainly one of the most problematic function in the urban machine. Because of its 121 islands and 435 bridges, walking through the historical city of Venice it’s not easy.
This project aims to analyse the problem by focusing on the subjects that might have mobility issues, firstly the numbers of them and where they are situated. Secondly, which are the means of transportation and the services they can benefit from. Finally, how the accessibility in Venice is perceived from foreigners’ point of view. The aim is to draw attention to the critical aspects of the problem to encourage a more focused project.
